Anti Condensation Film

Anti condensation film causes the condensation to spread equally at the surface of the film, which results into more light getting through and less energy being used. It is possible to perforate the anti condensation film in various ways, with 20 x 20 being the most common one. View the entire range of anti condensation films from Royal Brinkman.

Anti condensation Film

Anti-condensation film used to be used primarily to minimize energy costs. Nowadays, anti-condensation film is used to create uniform climate. Anti-condensation film is mainly used when the new crop is placed in the greenhouse. This allows growers to achieve a warmer greenhouse climate, which leads to better results. Depending on the crop, choose an anti-condensation film with a specific perforation spacing. These perforations allow moisture to escape.

AC Film advantages

AC film is the key to achieving a harmonious and homogeneous greenhouse climate that gives growers better results from the start of their crops. With this innovative film, you can eliminate condensation challenges and ensure a drip-free environment for your plants.

Anti condensation film sizes

The anti-condensation films are available in different sizes, so there is a suitable ac-film for every crop. The plano and perforated films are available in the following sizes:
  • 005x530
  • 005x480
  • 005x425
  • 005x350
  • 005x330

How do you pull in AC-film?

AC film retraction can be manual or mechanical; however, manual retraction is labor intensive. Therefore, many choose to use mechanical retraction. When AC film is first installed, a pipe-rail trolley is used to lift the film and lay it over the crop wires. When the film is removed months later, the wire rope can be easily pulled over the wires, eliminating the need for a pipe rail cart. This greatly simplifies the process. After retraction, do not tape AC film together every two feet to prevent cold air infiltration. Allow 5-10 inches of overlap when stapling. A simple stapler will do the job.
